December 4, 2023 – Launched HSC Vittorio Morace
We are proud to announce the launch of the new HSC Vittorio Morace vessel, the first of 9 innovative fast hybrid ships that will join our fleet by 2026.
This morning at 08:45, at the Astilleros Armon shipyard in Navia, Spain, following the launching ceremony held in the presence of the entire Morace family, HSC Vittorio Morace touched the water. The Vittorio Morace with a length of 39.5 meters and a capacity of 251 passengers, is the first HSC hybrid fast craft in the world, is equipped with two MTU-Rolls Royce hybrid engines, which will enable her to move within ports in full electric mode and then recharge her batteries while sailing at 30 knots in the open sea.
HSC Vittorio Morace in the name of our founder , who recently passed away, represents Liberty Lines’ concrete commitment to ensure ever-improving service while respecting the delicate ecosystems that characterize the destinations we are honored to serve.
