A holiday in Palermo
Palermo is the capital of Sicily. Colours, perfumes, magical atmospheres... Palermo has no equal and it is really difficult to describe it in a few lines. A city with Greek origins, it then passed to the Romans, Arabs, Normans and Swabians, who all left evidence of their passage. Through the centre of Palermo you can also admire majestic Baroque and Art Nouveau buildings. Palermo is the ideal place for a 360° holiday. With its history, culture and the beautiful sandy beach of Mondello just a short distance from the city, it encloses all the beauty and colourful joy of Sicily in just a few kilometres.

Crossroads of a thousand cultures and peoples
The opulence of the churches and monuments is magically mixed with the historical and dynamic local markets, such as Ballarò and the Vucciria, famous for the wide range of foods and wines that they offer every day.
Eating in Palermo means taking advantage of a gastronomy that offers everything and more, at any time of day or night, from street food to restaurants: great food is always just around the corner. Among the most famous specialties: pasta with sardines and baked anelletti, not to mention the great tradition of pastries and sweets, including cannoli and cassate, which has made this city famous throughout the world.
