Santa Marina

The main port of call on the island is Santa Marina where there is also a tourist port, while on the south-west side lies the port of Rinella. The entire island is connected by convenient carriage roads, which twist along the slopes of the mountains, through lava flows of surprising shapes. Definitely the best way to visit the island is to rent a scooter or car, even if in the summer there is an efficient bus service that operates until late into the evening.
