Get back to Vulcano

Continuing from the church you can easily reach Piscità, the road leads to a wide beach of black sand that marks the end of the town and the beginning of the Sciara del Fuoco. At the end of Piscità there is a rather dusty road rich in Mediterranean maquis that leads to the observatory, now converted into a restaurant, which is only 100m from the crater. In the evening, while comfortably enjoying your dinner, you can see the wonderful eruptions and explosions of lapilli, which are repeated on average every 15/20 minutes.
