Get back to Messina

The Cathedral of Messina is undoubtedly the most representative building in Messina.
It was destroyed several times but faithfully reconstructed to its original Norman forms, and the cathedral’s bell tower is one of the most curious attractions in Italy. It stands about 60 metres tall with its majestic mechanical clock, added to the bell tower in 1933, boasting the record of being the largest astronomical clock in the world.
